State-of-the-art Investor Relations CD Available Upon Request

Cantex Energy Corp. (Pink Sheets: CTXE) announced today that the Company has targeted four drillable structures as the most opportune sites to initiate exploration and development of its Big Canyon Prospect, located in the Val Verde Basin, Terrell County, Texas leasehold.

After extensive evaluation and interpretation of the seismic data provided through geological and geophysical studies conducted on behalf of Cantex, the Company believes the four structures are the most feasible drilling opportunities available from an economic and risk/reward standpoint. Cantex Energy’s technical team has mapped these locations and expects to explore these opportunities in the near term. Cantex is currently awaiting the completion of the analogs for this prospect and the surrounding fields as well. Several parties have expressed interest in reviewing the data for potential farm-ins.
